Exploration of Vision Based Lane Detection and Departure Systems

In this project, multiple lane detection systems are explored. These systems range in sensor use, from lidar to visible light cameras. Different software approaches, including the Hough transform and machine learning are also explored for their advantages and disadvantages. Then in the second part of the paper, the Lane Departure Warning System is modified for use in a real-world test. The results of this test are then examined.
